I Write Poetry Too, Sometimes

Hey folks, recently I’ve gotten more into writing poetry- partly because it challenges me as a writer and I often hide behind weird satire instead of trying a new thing that I might be bad at and also because it seems to be the only genre Jessica Valenti hasn’t monopolized (yet).

Plus, I have a lot of Leo placements which I’m told means I’m a sucker for approval so I’ve gotten really into acceptance letters from lit mags.
