Exercise!

Exercise has been proven to create endorphins and moving a little more every day can do wonders for your mood. Just run. Keep running. Run out of your house and into the night with one shoe on and the front door open. Don’t stop for anything or anyone.

Wake up at 5AM every day.

This way you’ll be miserable, but for a new reason.

Make yourself a set of goals to reach every day.

Goals help motivate you and give you something to look forward to. Try small, attainable accomplishments like “getting out of bed” and “not crying at work”.

Try something new.

Getting yourself out of your usual routine can help to shake your existential ennui and general feeling that we’re all meatbags on a dying planet slowly being strangled by the unfeeling, vice-like grip of capitalism. Make time each week to try something you’ve never tried before, like hiking down to the river to cry next an empty, rusted Target shopping cart or driving out to the middle of the desert to scream into the gnawing…
